About Our Law Firm

Aggressive. Experienced. Proven.

The Schisani Law Firm, P.A. specializes in cases ranging from criminal defense, civil injunctions, and victims’ rights representation. We strive to provide aggressive, personalized, and effective representation to every client. Although our law firm is based out of Orlando, Florida, we handle cases throughout the state of Florida. Moreover, we have been hired pro hac vice to represent multiple clients in the state of California. The firm’s founder and lead criminal defense attorney, Christopher J. Schisani, is a former prosecutor, as well as a former law partner at a high-profile criminal defense law firm before venturing out on his own. It was these experiences that molded him into the skilled and knowledgeable attorney he is today. Mr. Schisani is considered a top-rated criminal defense attorney in the state of Florida by leading attorney services such as Avvo, and is recognized for excellence by organizations like “The National Trial Lawyers,” “Elite Lawyer,” and the “American Institute of Trial Lawyers,” among a multitude of other organizations. Mr. Schisani genuinely believes his team provides unrivaled legal representation—and this is strongly reflected by the reviews written by his clients.

How Our Law Firm Stands Out

Access to Your Attorney. Former Prosecutor. Personalized Legal Representation.
Trial Tested.

Our law firm prides ourselves in providing personalized legal representation to each and every client. When you sign up with our legal team, you become a part of the Schisani Law family—and this is something attorney Christopher Schisani takes seriously. Growing up in an Italian family there were certain values that were instilled in Mr. Schisani at a young age that he has carried with him throughout his life—loyalty, compassion, transparency, and protecting your family. At the Schisani Law Firm, P.A., you are not merely a client, but rather a member of our family—and we fight for our family.

Our Practice Areas

In the state of Florida, an injunction—also known as a restraining order—is a court order that prevents a person from having contact with another individual. Injunctions are civil in nature; however, if the terms of the injunction are violated, a person can be prosecuted criminally.

There are several types of injunctions that can be filed in Florida. Generally, these types of injunctions include:

  • Dating violence
  • Domestic violence
  • Repeat violence
  • Sexual violence
  • Stalking

Mr. Schisani has handled many pre-arrest investigations in his criminal defense career. He understands from experience the high stakes associated with a serious criminal investigation, and therefore, knows the importance of being proactive and attacking these cases from the start.

It happens when you least expect it. You are running behind schedule, trying to get to your destination on time. You are traveling hastily down the road, and then before you know it, lights and sirens are initiated behind you—and you are pulled over. Although you may feel helpless if you are the driver in this situation, traffic cases are heavily defensible. There are requirements that the officer is obligated to abide by and sometimes fail to follow, which can be exploited and used in your favor to potentially get the ticket dismissed altogether. If you are facing a Florida traffic citation, you need an experienced and aggressive traffic attorney to protect you. The Schisani Law Firm has you covered.

In the past, victims of crimes were essentially voiceless. In other words, they were not bestowed with any genuine powers. Consequently, since victims did not have any real rights in the criminal process, they had to passively sit back and wish for the best outcome—hoping justice was served. Fortunately, a lot has changed in modern society to give victims a voice, as well as provide avenues to exercise their rights. Article 1 Section 16 of the Florida Constitution gives victims various rights they did not previously have. A victims' rights attorney can aid those that have been victimized by crimes. Having experienced and skilled counsel by your side can help a person navigate a fundamentally complex judicial system, as well as aggressively fight to enforce the rights enumerated under the Florida Constitution. The Schisani Law Firm, P.A. will aggressively fight for you to help ensure justice is served.

Advertising Throughout Central Florida

The Schisani Law Firm, P.A. has been expanding rapidly since its inception. We understand high quality representation is not easy to find; and we truly believe everyone deserves the best legal representation available to defend themselves. Traditionally, the majority of our clientele has come from referrals from previous clients, as we spend very little on marketing. Modestly speaking, we believe this is the result of the quality of work we provide our clients, as well as the positive outcomes we receive (please reference our “testimonials” tab on our website to see what our clients have to say about us). Although we understand and appreciate that the best advertisement is by “word of mouth,” we also understand to reach the masses–and help more people in need–we must incorporate other pathways to get our name out to the public. Therefore, we have increased our law firm’s presence in the community by advertising throughout central Florida. Look out for our billboard ads in the Orlando, FL area!

Experienced Litigation Firm Representing Clients Out-of-State

Typically, only the most exceptional attorneys get hired to handle out-of-state cases. Modestly speaking, Florida attorney Christopher J. Schisani has been hired to handle several cases in the state of California—receiving successful outcomes for his clients. One of his California clients had a violent felony case where they were facing substantial prison time. After exhausting all pre-trial avenues and tiring down the Assistant District Attorney, the client walked away with a small probationary term (with the option to early terminate probation after half the period). On another California matter, attorney Schisani’s client was initially offered a 90-day jail term to resolve the case. After fighting the matter and exposing the weaknesses, the client ended up doing no jail time nor probation. Although the laws in California—and other states—are different; and learning new sets of legal rules and procedures can be complex, Mr. Schisani never backs down from a challenge. In fact, he thrives off of it. If you are dealing with an out-of-state criminal matter, and you are seeking a law firm that is going to fight to protect you and your rights, please do not hesitate to contact us today for a free consultation.
